The Catchiest Advertising Jingles of All Time #infographic

Love or hate them, there is no denying that for a very long time, almost 100 years, commercial jingles have been part of American culture. The first jingle broadcast on the radio premiered on Christmas Day 1926 to celebrate the virtues of wheat cereal, according to most records. Intervening decades caused the production and popularity of jingles to rise and fall. At its height, the minds and spending habits of generations of Americans were influenced by these artfully crafted ditties.

Not all jingles, of course, are produced equal. Some will never leave us until they are burned into our consciousness. Others don't make a good impact like that. And changing viewing preferences have made it easier to avoid commercials.
