The essence of selling stuff, be it goods or services, has changed drastically if you recall even 10 years ago. It's not enough enough for the internet to know you're actually selling something; now the internet (and customers) want to know you're providing goods or services, and they want to be able to buy them, sometimes right away.
They also want to change their e-commerce customer service, with the same immediate nature of buying to apply to queries or issues that they might have.
If you were ahead of the trend, kudos to you, then. You're probably already reaping the benefits of e-commerce purchases and consumer partnerships that you've never dreamed of before.
