Coronavirus Outbreaks Intensify in the APAC Region #infographic

In the APAC region, many countries are currently battling increasing or returning outbreaks of coronavirus. Japan was the country most affected in the area by COVID-19's second wind and declared a second state of emergency, though localised. The number of COVID-19 infections has also risen in South Korea, Malaysia and even Thailand, where cases have more than doubled since mid-December. Indonesia, which has never really been able to break the infection chain, has recently seen them rise faster, too.

For now, Singapore, which saw a major outbreak beginning in April, seems to have the situation under control, although the spread of the virus in the Philippines has also significantly slowed down.
