The most popular dates for weddings in the U.S. are in fall, according to WeddingWire's 2018 Newlywed Survey. We've taken a look at the average costs of different things that a bride and groom would want for their ceremony and reception as the wedding season begins. The price tag of the 'big day' will really start to add up from the location ($9,000) right down to the jewellery ($350) and the officiant ($300), with a total cost of $44,060 for all of the items listed on our infographic. Average spending varies by location, with happy couples splattering out most of the 25 largest metro areas in New York ($45,000) and the least in St. Louis ($21,000).
