Many Filipinos find the term "investing" a little overwhelming. No wonder, since it does mean having to spend your money, but if invested in the right assets, it may be well-spent money.

Many Filipinos can afford to shop for the latest fashion trends or gadgets, purchase a new car, or stay up to midnight to book cheap flights in various parts of the country and even abroad, as you can see on social media. Both of these offer immediate gratification. It goes to show that a lot of Filipinos have the money to expand, but not all of them spend it wisely or put it into different investment vehicles.
