Security is an important problem in homes where small children live. Parents want to shield their children from any potential risks and will most often take action to make their homes as safe as possible and environmentally friendly. Despite one's best intentions, sadly, incidents can always happen. As the leading cause of childhood mortality, the National Safety Council cites accidents. Half of the incidents that cause these injuries happen in the house. Parents or guardians would need to be prepared to take the appropriate action when they do. It is important to understand fundamental first aid and how to apply it according to the child's accident and age and to save their child's life.
