With a $239 billion advertisement economy in 2019, it is fair to assume that the U.S. is home to some of the planet 's largest advertisement spenders.
The COVID-19 pandemic, however, has contributed to the big upheaval in advertisement expenditure, and for some time it is unlikely to recover. The graph above uses data from Ad Age 's Leading National Advertisers 2020 that analyses U.S. advertising spending every year, and ranks 100 national advertisers in 2019 by their total spending.
