Most U.S. consumers spend between $25-$50 on every trip to the marijuana store according to Headset Inc.

The average amount every US consumer spends on cannabis products in the same year is around $645 annually. About 48 percent of those consumers spend between $500 to $2,500 a year on cannabis.

Yet in 2019 the amount U.S. customers spend on marijuana goods per month was estimated at $5.8 billion, based on New Frontier Data. That's about $206.5 million a day, or $1.45bn a week.

In addition, New Frontier Data also showed that the 2019 illicit cannabis market revenue was estimated to have generated $70 billion in revenue. But that same year, the U.S. legal medical & recreational cannabis industry stood at $13.6 billion and is estimated to reach $29.7 billion in 2025.

The estimated total U.S. demand for cannabis in 2019 (both legal and black-market sales) totalled $83.6 billion in total. And according to Eaze, a cannabis order was put every 8 seconds by US consumers.
