The bank sees developing economies such as Indonesia, Turkey, Brazil, and Egypt all rising up the ladder–and by 2030 it predicts that seven of the top 10 GDP (PPP) economies in the world will be based in emerging markets. To build some further background, we compared these estimates with the IMF's latest 2017 GDP (PPP) results. Also, when we directly compared these two data sets, we added potential percent change for each area.
