Patriots Top List for Most Super Bowl Appearances #infographic

Having lost in last year's AFC Conference Championship to the New England Patriots, the Kansas City Chiefs reached the Super Bowl this year— the first time since 1970. The upcoming Feb 2 game will be the Chiefs ' third Super Bowl appearance (and may be their second win). While this is not much in comparison to other countries, it's not the worst result in history.

There are still four teams-the Cleveland Browns, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Detroit Lions and the Houston Texans-who have never won a Super Bowl, and 13 other teams that have played only once or twice. Jacksonville and Houston joined the rivalry only in 1995 and 2002, respectively.
