We were thrust into the future and our planet hasn't been the same since the theatrical release of Star Wars in 1977: Episode IV–A New Hope. It's been exploring the vast space frontier over the decades since the show, and offering us a vivid depiction of what could happen beyond our reach. The original creator George Lucas ignited the imaginations of millions of children and some of them grew up as filmmakers.
J.J. Abrams and Rian Johnson stepped into giants ' shoes as they accepted the director's seat for the production of the latest episodes of nine-part Skywalk Saga. J J.J. Awakens Force (2015) and The Skywalker Rise (2019) and Rian Johnson directed Star Wars: Episode VIII–The Last Jedi(2017). In all, 5 directors over 42 years have told us a story on the silver screen with rich characters and the power pendulum's dramatic swings.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Solo: A Star Wars Story that extended beyond the nine core films, a saga for anthology epochs. The franchise has successfully connected to the Sci-Fi icon it is today along generational lines, not to mention the numerous animated series, the latest Mandalorian show and video games as well. The tale may end with The Rise by Skywalker but we're sure there are stories that need to be told yet.
