Were you aware that a number of other names could go with the medication you are taking depending on where you live? In reality many of the top-selling drugs can be sold with a completely different name in our Canadian pharmacy. And yet, why does this happen?

Depending on a number of factors, brand name drugs may vary from country to country. These usually boil down to the regulatory body responsible for issuing licenses, the manufacturer, and if there is any entity that also has rights to the patent, for what product is being marketed (for example, if it has different uses), and more. What is important is to know which medicine you are taking and that derives from its chemical / generic name.
