Mosquitos are small animals that are confusing. But behind their folly there is some science. Below are the 5 most frequently asked mosquito questions and methods of preventing them (not questions... mosquitos)! Both mosquitoes live in the water and depend on water journeys to avoid carbon dioxide and inhale new oxygen supplies. Their larvae were laid in water pools by female mosquitoes. The larvae are living in water their first two phases of life. This also causes mosquitoes to be moisturized. They will eventually attract you because you exhale water vapor when you breathe.
Only female mosquitoes actually mord. Blood is needed to supply the egg protein. For a whole lifetime, women create one or three lots of eggs. They go in search of blood when they are prepared to create eggs. While rather unpleasant to think about, female mosquitoes have a sophisticated system of six “stylets” they use to pump your blood. Four of the stylets have serrated edges for sawing into tiny capillaries just under the skin; the fifth injects saliva to allow blood to flow freely; and the sixth facilitates pulling in the blood.
