Research indicates that at least 64% of individuals now spend up to 4 hours a day on screen. Like the increase in obesity and diabetes, TV watching is bad news for our health. This additional sedentary period of time is poor.
Make it a rule, when you're home, that if the sun shines you can't be online. You must instead walk, bicycle and other kinds of good physical activity for at least an hour, or sit on the desktop, before you are able to pull out your mobile or tablet. This rule should apply in your family to everybody.
