Every year, millions of people travel thousands of miles to see the most historic, famous real-life buildings in the world–and with fences (and walls) it's exactly the same situation. While the original purpose of fences may have been to create a physical barrier to stop people from entering somewhere (or, as the case may be, out!); the most famous fences in the world still attract thousands of travelers every year to this day.
