The technology was a novelty, a cool tool for testing, with answers to speech queries that were sometimes informative and sometimes laughable. Not many individuals anticipated that it would become the future's significant digital trend. But since then, speech search has altered a lot. There are now on the market a range of voice-activated systems (e.g., Cortana, Alexa's Amazon, Google Assistant).
On their mobile devices, people use voice search and over 420 million speech assistants have been sold. People are already using voice assistants much more than they used to, mostly for instructions (e.g. setting an alarm, calling mom). But search marketing still has a lot of increasing potential. This is mostly because the voice search AI technology has become far more precise. According to Google, the precision of speech recognition has risen since 2013 to 95%.
