Singapore Travel Guide #Infographic

Singapore is a cosmopolitan city-state which became independent of the British in 1965 and is now one of the major shipping and banking financial centres in the world. Backpacking Singapore is not as big with travelers as it is with say Thailand, Vietnam, or anywhere else in Southeast Asia–or just visiting on a budget. Singapore is costly by Southeast Asian norms, with everything costing twice as much as it does elsewhere in the region.
