Chicago is one of the towns that has started privatizing their parking meters and displaying the nation's most costly meters with a $97.20 per capita top-ranking income. Phoenix, AZ, on the other end of the range, has more than enough parking spaces for tourists and the town earns only $0.55 in income for each citizen.
